Looking good for Jesus prohibited in Singapore!
US-based cosmetics company Blue Q had provoked the anger among the Singapore Roman Catholics with their newest cosmetics line named "Lookin' Good for Jesus", showing the drawing of Jesus Christ with a sexy blond girl. Catholics complained about this, finding the cosmetics marketing campaign to be disrespectful and full of sexual references.
![]() The cosmetic line includes a "Get Tight with Christ" hand and body cream, a "Virtuous vanilla" lip balm, "Fix It" kit, big shopping bag, bubble bath, all with a picture of Christ surrounded by two sexy women. There are also a little purse with the title "Show Him the Money" and a mirror featuring Virgin Mary praying on the cover, saying "Please Him".
What's all the fuss about? "Why would anyone use religious figures to promote vanity products? It's very disrespectful and distasteful," the Straits Times newspaper quoted accountant Grace Ong, 24, as saying. This cosmetics line was on sale at three Topshop outlets in the Asian city state before the Topshop withdrew the line, emphasizing that they had no intentions of offending their customers. No, really, why? Even the Pope loves it!

If u're from Singapore and you've managed to buy yourself a piece of the cosmetics from BlueQ and now you're eating yourselves from the inside with guilt, make sure you Wash Away Your Sins with 3 Pak Wrapped Soap, but before you post a shitty comment on how lame my English is, use this one. Then check out other great products from BlueQ.
